Radiesse
Radiesse is a safe and effective dermal filler that corrects folds and wrinkles on the face.
Radiesse is a safe and effective dermal filler that corrects nasolabial folds, wrinkles and skin depressions around the nose, mouth and cheeks. Radiesse will leave the skin looking younger and healthier while lasting longer than other fillers. Radiesse is a minimally invasive procedure that injects calcium based microfibers into the skin which will restore its youth and vitality.
How it works
During the treatment small calcium based microspheres (synthetic calcium hydroxylapatite CaHA) are injected into the skin in order to support the production of the patients collagen. However, over time the calcium based microspheres are broken down naturally and absorbed into the patients body. A local anaesthetic is usually applied to the treatment area. Radiesse will rebuild the skins foundation and restore a youthful look.
BenefitsRadiesse is a natural look that lasts a lot longer than other injectables. Radiesse can improve several skin problems such as nasolabial folds, marionette lines, cheek augmentation, chin augmentation, jaw line contouring, mental crease augmentation, nasal defects and tear troughs. As well, Radiesse will work to restore the natural production of collagen which offers a natural option to correcting skin problems. Radiesses also provides immediate correction of skin problems and fewer injection sessions are needed. Radiesse is also extremly safe as hundreds of thousands of patients have experienced this treatment and there has been years of studies and research that prove that it is safe and effective. Radiesse also offers more product per syringe returning volume to the skin. Radiesse combats the deterioration, descent and deflation of the skin.
What to expectPatients can expect to see results immediately. Results typically last for a year or more which save the patient money and time. The effects will start to fade when the microspheres begin to break down and are naturally absorbed into the body. Typically, patients will only have to experience one treatment, however, the doctor may recommend a touch up treatment. Some patients may experience mild irritation, swelling, itching, brusing and tenderness which are associated with injections. Due to the CaHA content, patients may also expect Radiesse to appear on dental x-ray since CaHA is the primary mineral constituent of bone and teeth.
