Permanent Laser Hair Reduction

While there is no true way to permanently remove hair, the Apogee Elite^TM laser system offers a highly effective way to permanently reduce hair in unwanted areas. Lasers specifically target hair follicles with very little risk to the surrounding skin.

Hair follicles are at various stages of growth at the time of treatment, and therefore 4-6 sessions over a number of months may be required to achieve the desired result. Where some lasers are only able to treat light or fairer skin types, the Apogee Elite^TM utilizes both a 755 nm Alexandrite laser as well as a high powered 1064 Nd:YAG laser which allows for treatment of almost any skin type (including tanned skin!).

The laser handpiece connects with a unique skin cooling system, the Smartcool^TM Chiller, which administers a gentle flow of cold air reducing the discomfort during the procedure. There may be some mild redness and swelling following treatment, which usually resolves after a few hours.
