Restylane® and Perlane®

Hyaluronic acid (HA) has emerged as the replacement for collagen as the injectable dermal "filler" of choice used to treat fine lines and wrinkles, deep folds, or to provide tissue enhancement (e.g. lips).

It is a naturally occurring substance that is already found in your own tissues and skin. It is administered via tiny injections into the target areas. The procedure typically lasts 15-30 minutes with results being seen immediately and lasting 4-6 months (individual results may vary).

Occasionally there will be some redness and swelling at the injection sites, however most people are able to return to their normal daily activities immediately after the procedure.
